New Book:

      The book that I have chosen to read is Looking for Alaska by John Green. I have read many books by John Green such as "Paper Towns" and "The Fault in Our Stars" and I have to say I am a big fan of his writing! All of his stories are very good and they always leave me feeling satisfied. I decided to pick this book as my next independent reading novel because I have heard many people talk about what an amazing book it is, and that I needed to read it. So I decided I was going to start to read it!

     I have not actually started the book, but I found out that this book is about a boy named Miles Halter who heads off to boarding school, and his whole life changes because down the hall is a girl named Alaska Young. She is not like your typical teenage girl..."she is an event unto herself", and when she meets Miles, she pulls him into what her world is like....and nothing is the same.

      That was the introduction to what the book is going to be about, and just by reading that I am very interested to see what happens to make Miles's life completely change! I am excited to read this book, especially because it is a John Green novel and he is an amazing writer!
