Satire Example

   The purpose of this satire is to be recognized as funny. This is ironic because since the basketball player travelled in the game he had to be taken through the metal detector like you have to when you are actually going to travel. So that is why the team-mates said "they've gotten strict about travelling..." because they referees are checking the player. The element of this satire would be a Burlesque, because it is mocking what would happen to basketball players when they "travel" in a game to when you are actually travelling for a trip, and you have to go through customs. This is a great example of a Burlesque satire!
